Simplifying Access to Educational Materials

Building a Learning Management System with Salesforce Experience Cloud

To address Pentair’s challenges, Redtag designed and implemented a cutting-edge Learning Management System (LMS) using Salesforce Experience Cloud and Appinium LMS. This custom solution created a seamless environment for accessing educational resources, managing learning pathways, and simplifying complex workflows.

  • Custom Data Model. A comprehensive data model was set up to cater to various learning groups, whether customers, employees, or partners. This structure enabled easy addition and organization of learning materials while keeping the system agile for future expansion. 
  • Enhanced Security Model. To prioritize privacy, Redtag ensured customized, group-based access control. This meant that only authorized users could view, edit, or approve sensitive data, adding a critical layer of security to Pentair’s system. 
  • Custom User Components. Intuitive and user-friendly custom components were created, allowing learners to easily browse educational content, complete modules, and track certifications. These components contributed to an engaging and highly efficient experience. 
  • Admin Console. The administrative console simplified data management by giving Pentair’s administrators a centralized hub to organize, monitor, and update learning resources as needed. 

The project was completed within six months, with 500 development hours dedicated to creating this robust solution. By leveraging Salesforce Lightning for the UI and Experience Cloud for external access, our team ensured the system was both user-centric and scalable.
