The primary pain point was the lack of integration between their WooCommerce website and Salesforce CRM. Orders placed online required manual input into Salesforce, draining valuable time that could have been spent on cultivating customer relationships or growing the brand.

Additionally, while horn sales were central to the business, accessories—another key revenue stream—weren’t being tracked or managed effectively. The absence of an inventory system for accessories meant missed insights into stock levels and impacted financial forecasting. 

With these manual processes hindering their efficiency, Hampson Horns asked Redtag for help to develop an integrated, intuitive solution that would save time and simplify their operations.

Composing a Customized Workflow

Redtag stepped in to deliver a fully integrated system that changed the way Hampson Horns managed their sales and inventory. 

The project began with configuring the WP WooCommerce Salesforce Connector plugin. This integration automatically synchronized online sales with Salesforce, ensuring each purchase of a horn created corresponding opportunities and products in the CRM without requiring any manual input. Dr. Hampson gained an instant overview of all sales activity, streamlining operations and making data-driven decisions simpler. 

Recognizing the unique nature of Hampson Horns’ accessory sales, Redtag took the integration further. A third-party solution from Make.com was brought in, allowing the team to track accessory inventory. By connecting WooCommerce orders with Salesforce, Hampson Horns could now monitor accessory stock levels in real time and replenish items before running out.

With the integration in place, orders flowed seamlessly between WooCommerce and Salesforce, automating what was once a labor-intensive manual task. Accessory inventory, once a challenging blind spot, became a traceable, manageable process. Syncing accessory orders and stock levels gave Hampson Horns better control over this additional revenue stream, enabling smarter stock management and ensuring customers never left empty-handed.
